Barbara is a fabric designer and doll artist living in Windsor, CT. She is a wife, the mother of three, and the proud grandmother of three. Also sharing her home is a cat, a brittany, a miniature schnauzer, and an adopted Mexican street dog. Barbara has loved all types of needle arts since childhood, and was educated in fine arts. She creates dolls and creatures of all sizes, and produces a line of patterns of her designs. She began making dolls in 1985 when she needed affordable and unbreakable dolls for her daughter's dollhouse. When her tiny dolls were discovered by the Kansas City Museum of Miniatures, Dolls, and Toys, she began marketing them nationwide. Kith & Kin was born. |
