Dyed Muslin
I always recommend using Roc-Lon Muslin to make my dolls. It can be readily found at such craft stores as "Jo-Ann's E.T.C." It is fine, soft, and even with a suitably high thread count, but it is slightly lesser in quality than some... such as "Southern Belle." I like it because it is slightly thinner and has more stretch. When turning miniature dolls and tiny fingers... it's much easier to work with than the "good stuff." Bonnie Lewis, famous for her flesh tones, dyes this muslin just for me. It is Roc-Lon muslin, 100% cotton. Thanks Bonnie! Pre-cut pieces are 36"x 42".
